As per a report by Reuters, Stellantis has not yet decided where to build its third electric battery plant in Europe on top of those planned in France and Germany, Italy’s Industry Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti. The report added that Giorgetti said in a statement after meeting Stellantis representatives and unions in Rome that they cannot talk about a gigafactory without addressing the fundamental question about where batteries are produced. The decision has not yet been taken.

Mobile Drive, a 50/50 voting rights joint venture is aimed at accelerating development timelines to bring innovative in-vehicle user experiences enabled by advanced consumer electronics, HMI interfaces and services that will exceed customer expectations, the company said.
