April 16, 2015: With demand for electronic components growing in India, the Electronics Bazaar team interviewed 19 companies based in China and Taiwan. It emerged that as many as 12 of these are looking for distributors in India, while the remaining aim to reach out to new clients directly or by utilising their existing distributor base

In recent times, India has seen a sudden boom in the ESDM market driven by the government’s policies and subsidies, growing demand for the end products, and a special emphasis on education and training.

According to the India Electronics & Semiconductor Association (IESA), the Indian ESDM industry is expected to touch US$ 400 billion by 2020.
