The MD8430A-085 carrier aggregation option is designed for installation in the MD8430A signalling tester. Using this option, the MD8430A provides engineers with a bench-top test environment, which simulates an LTE advanced network (that supports a carrier aggregation coding/decoding protocol) and throughput performance tests under a variety of test conditions, which can be difficult to configure using a live network.
