Samsung has introduced its new products like front loading and top loading washing machines to increase sales by more than 5 per cent. The electronics major is eyeing the festive season to yield better results. The top loading washing machine comes with ActivWash, energy efficient digital inverter motor, which reduces around 40 per cent energy consumption. It also claims to have reduced noise and vibration, when on work.

Samsung has equipped its All-in-one range with Direct Drive Technology, with no belt and pulley mechanism for a longer lasting period. The energy efficient digital inverter motor is also equipped with Stainless Steel Pulsator, thereby providing complete hygiene. The new washing machines are said to be corrosion resistant.

Samsung has offered a 3-year warranty period and kept the washing machines in Rs. 24,000-50,000 price range.

The electronics giant is expected to witness an average of 30per cent growth in the automatic washing machine segment. The Deputy General Manager further said that although the penetration level of washing machines is low, it provides an opportunity for growth in the Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
