In August 2011, BPL Techno Vision has announced an innovative rechargeable LED light, which has dual charging modes, and is equipped with an AC charger as well as a solar panel.
Features and USP: With BPL ‘Q’ Tech, BPL SL1300 requires only four hours to be fully charged and gives five hours of light. The unique Q Tech technology allows charging even in times of fluctuating power and has an AC mains charging range of 90 V to 260 V. The solar panels charged over a day can provide up to 3.5 hours of light. The light uses 24 cool daylight white LEDs with 120 degree clear lens that is designed to provide 360 degree illumination. The light is powered by a 3.3 V, 1600 mAh lithium iron battery. It is mechanically shock resistant. The BPL SL1300 comes at an MRP of Rs1299.
