Thursday, October 24, 2013: Awarded by ABP News at their Brand Excellence Awards in Mumbai

Recognizing his outstanding contribution to the overwhelming success of Panasonic India, Mr. Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India, has been felicitated with the ABP News Brand Excellence Awards in Mumbai. The award recognizes Mr. Sharma’s extraordinary success in achieving innovative and effective marketing practices in across industries, while maintaining budgets and the diversity of marketing programs.

The ABP News Brand Excellence Awards is premiere multi-brand platforms aimed at fostering marketing awareness and inspire aspirations to achieve marketing excellence. It aims to educate and disseminate the importance of branding in India. Apart from extensive financial evaluation, the ABP News Brand Excellence Awards weighs in a lot of consumer preference as well. Hosted by the World Brand Congress, the event was endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses.

Accepting this award, Mr. Manish Sharma expressed “It is a proud moment for me to receive this award. Mr. Manish Sharma is responsible for driving Panasonic’s profitable growth along with strategy planning and business development across the entire portfolio of company’s consumer and enterprise divisions. Being an experimental person himself, has lead Panasonic India to undertake new innovative methods to explore exponentially. Since Manish joined Panasonic India in 2008, he has played a pivotal role in Panasonic’s rapid growth in the consumer durable industry in India. He has successfully led the growth of Japanese consumer electronics giant Panasonic into an Indian multi-national through the various roles that he has held at Panasonic.
