This new Mini Cooper Electric offers increased interior space and versatility built upon an updated platform with an extended wheelbase. The compact 3-door body retains its agile aesthetics, featuring short overhangs, a concise bonnet, and an elongated wheelbase. The flush door handles and modern design elements contribute to a sleek appearance, while the iconic round headlamps and grille remain intact. LED lighting and innovative OLED DRLs adorn the front fascia, which can be customized for a distinctive signature look. The rear showcases flush OLED taillamps with adjustable features, a novel addition to Mini’s design language.

The centrally positioned instrument cluster inside the cabin has evolved into a spacious 9.4-inch high-resolution OLED display, equipped with the Mini Operating System 9. The dashboard is adorned with textile materials, elevating the interior’s premium feel. Und

The new Mini Cooper Electric offers two powertrain options: the Mini Cooper E and the SE. The Mini Cooper E features an 184bhp electric motor with 290Nm of torque, achieving 0-100kmph in 7.3 seconds. Meanwhile, the Mini Cooper SE boasts a robust 218bhp and 330Nm of torque, enabling a rapid 0-100kmph sprint in 6.7 seconds. Notably, both models benefit from the improved driving range, thanks to the addition of larger battery packs—a 40.7kWh battery for the Mini Cooper E providing a WLTP range of 305km, and a 54.2kWh battery for the Mini Cooper SE offering an extended WLTP range of 402km.

Charging the Mini Cooper Electric is convenient with an 11kW AC charger, while faster charging options are available, with the Cooper E supporting 75kW charging and the Cooper SE capable of 95kW charging, reducing the 10 to 80 per cent charging time to under 30 minutes. Mini assures that the hallmark go-kart-like driving experience remains intact with the new Mini Cooper Electric, enhanced by a longer wheelbase, wider track width, and specially tuned dampers and suspension systems designed for spirited driving.
