Next Decades are Going to be Partnership Driven: MoS Chandrasekhar

The India Global Forum in Dubai is being held against the backdrop of India assuming the presidency of G20 and the council chair of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence

Recently, the Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar attended the India Global Forum in Dubai, UAE. He met the senior leadership of organizations such as Sequoia, Coinbase and VerSe. The minister also participated in the Ministerial Roundtable titled Globalisation of Indian Tech & Innovation Talent as a part of his visit to the IGF2022.

While addressing the government & industry leaders from India, UAE, UK, Israel and other participant countries, he put forth the PM’s vision of making trusted corridors of technologies & innovation with India as a skill hub & young Indians as innovators for the world. He also highlighted the success story of India’s Digital Public Platforms that have been tested for both scale and cost-effectiveness. He said, “Our Prime Minister has already made it clear that the world will benefit from the India stack.”

Shri Chandrasekhar pointed out, “The future of technology is going to be different from what we have experienced with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, extended reality/ augmented reality, high power computing etc. shall catalyse innovation in various fields.” He also underlined India as a trusted technology partner which is catalysing its digital economy by ensuring the safety & trust of its Digital Nagriks (citizens).

With India assuming the presidency of G20 and the council chair of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence, the minister stressed the collaboration among countries and said that the coming decades would be driven by partnerships.

IGF is the agenda-setting forum for international business and global leaders. It offers a selection of platforms that international corporates and policymakers can leverage to interact with stakeholders in their sectors and geographies of strategic importance. This time, it’s being held from 12th to 15th December 2022, themed ‘IGF UAE: Partners for Global Impact’.
