In June 2011, Agilent Technologies introduced five new PNA microwave vector network analyser models, in frequencies of up to 67 GHz. The new PNA series is based on Agilent’s PNA-X architecture and the company claims it is the world’s highest performing microwave network analyser, setting a new price/performance standard in the industry.
Features and USP: The Agilent’s PNA series is used to test a wide variety of passive and active devices such as filters, duplexers, amplifiers and frequency converters. They are available with the two port internal single source or four port internal dual source configurations in five frequency models—13.5, 26.5, 43.5, 50 and 67 GHz. The PNA series provides high power sources and the best linear receivers, giving it the most accurate S-parameter measurements with the widest power range in the market. This outstanding performance helps engineers increase yields with a lower guard band and provides the best data correlation between design verifications and production tests.
