In April, Kwality Photonics launched 150 mA small footprint power LEDs for the solid state lighting industry.
Features and USP: Kwality’s PolyWa 5052 series of power LEDs are embedded with a single large chip from high reliability LED chip capable of being driven up to 150 mA to obtain 40-50 lm. The PolyWa 5052 LEDs are ideal for retrofit applications, replacing existing incandescent and fluorescent bulbs. They are a high current LED series with time tested packaging that has excellent heat sinking capabilities. The 200 lumens KLHP3433WE LEDs can be driven up to 700 mA, 50 lumens LEDs up to 180 mA, and 6 W, 10 W and 26 W power LEDs can produce 90-100 lumens per watt.
These power LEDs have a copper slug placed right under the LED chip to provide the shortest path for the heat and have the lowest thermal resistance in their class.
