On the first day of India Electronics Week 2017, industry thought leaders discuss on how to enhance value addition in Electronics Manufacturing leveraging Internet of Things.

S K Marwaha, Senior Director, MeitY,  Sunil Kumar Barnwal, IAS, Secretary to Chief Minister, Secretary, IT & E – Governance & Secretary, Industries, Mines & Geology, Govt of Jharkhand and Deepthi Ravula, Joint Director (Electronics and Semiconductors), Government of Telangana explains how government is going to facilitate value addition in electronics manufacturing through different initiatives .

K Vijay Kumar Gupta, MD, Kwality Photonics Pvt. Ltd.,  N K Mohapatra , CEO, ESSCI, Anil kumar Muniswamy, Managing Director, SLN Technologies Pvt Ltd and Hari Krishnan Puravankara, Founder CEO, BlackPepper Technologies Private Limited explained how the advanced manufacturing practices and industry 4.0 technologies are going to enhance value addition in electronics manufacturing.

Experts including Dr. Andreas Middendorf,  Fraunhofer Institute, Germany, Ravi Ramaswamy, Head-health systems, Philips, Avinash Kaushik, Founder, Revvx IoT Accelerator discussed strategies and case studies that helped businesses gain max profit through their IoT products and solutions. They focused on revenue models and funding scenario that suit IoT based company. They also discussed how to reduce the cost of IoT products and follow best practices to obtain max benefits.
