Intex ropes in Rumpa Roy as head, business excellence

In line with the Company’s continued efforts to strengthen and professionalize its management for achieving accelerated growth and business excellence, Intex Technologies, one of the leading consumer electronics major, has appointed Ms. Rumpa Roy as Head of Business Excellence.

In her new role at Intex, Ms Roy would be responsible for working on Process Efficiency Enhancement- streamlining processes and continuous improvement across processes. She will also be focusing on Business Process Mapping / Re-Engineering. One of her key responsibility is to Drive Strategic Initiatives with Functional Heads- working closely with cross-functional teams for the delivery to enhance business growth. Alongside she will be also implementing Lean Six Sigma methodology in the organization by conducting training on Lean/ Six Sigma tools and Methodologies and conducting reviews and audits for assuring change management.

Ms. Rumpa has spent the last 15 years in the industry as a Six Sigma Professional with focus on operational Excellence through continuous improvements and lean deployments. Her main experience domain is in Change Management – Process design and re-engineering, Project Management, Cost Optimization, Business Process Mapping and Training Delivery. She also has experience in handling team’s cross locations with focus on capability building.
