Infinix, a China based smartphone brand has announced the launch of Note 5 Stylus in India at Rs 15,999. The company announced that Infinix Note 5 Stylus smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting December 4, 2018. Note 5 Stylus is Infinix’s first smartphone in India with a stylus.

Anish Kapoor, CEO, Infinix Mobile India, said, “Apart from the Stylus, it stands out with features such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled) cameras, fully Metallic uni-body, fast charging and Android One experience.”

Infinix’s latest smartphone will be competing against the LG Q Stylus, LG Stylus 3 and LG G3 Stylus smartphone in the country. All these stylus smartphones are priced above Rs 13,000 in India.

A tweet made through the official Infinix India Twitter handle read, “Be it doodling, calculating, taking notes or doing sketching on the go, all of this is possible with the all-new Infinix Note 5 Stylus, making you The Creator. Check out the first ever stylus phone with the Power To Create.”

Infinix, to trigger good sales, has announced Rs 2200 cashback and 50GB additional data with Reliance Jio as a part of Note 5 Stylus launch offer. Infinix is an online smartphone brand in India owned by China-based Transsion Holdings.

Infinix Note 5 Stylus features

Infinix Note 5 Stylus features a 5.93-inch Full HD+ display that offers a screen resolution of 2240 x 1080 pixels. The company has mated their latest smartphone with a MediaTek P23 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. Available with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, Infinix says the storage capacity can be further expanded by up to 256 GBs via a microSD card.

Infinix Note 5 Stylus comes equipped with a 1.25-micron pixel size 16-megapixel rear camera and f/1.8 aperture. The front camera consists of a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a soft-link flash.

It is powered by a 4000 mAh battery that offers 18W XCharge fast charging which Infinix claims can charge the smartphone completely in just 60 minutes. Infinix Note 5 Stylus will come installed with Android 8.1 Oreo OS. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS and a micro USB port.

The Infinix XPen stylus looks quite similar to one found on Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Infinix claims that the X-Pen can be used to create smart screenshots, write notes, view files, create memos, and for drawing paintings on the phone’s screen.
