India Based Mivi Launches Three Water Resistant Bluetooth Speakers

Mivi, an India based electronic gadgets brand has announced the launch of three new wireless portable Bluetooth speakers in the country. Dubbed Octave, Moonstone and Roam, all these three latest Bluetooth speakers will be exclusively available online on Amazon and Mivi India website.

The company has priced Octave at Rs 1,699 while Moonstone has been priced at Rs 2,299. The Roam priced at Rs 2,999 makes for the most expensive Bluetooth speaker among the three launched. The company claims that all the three wireless speakers to be water-resistant, a feature that is normally not found in Bluetooth speakers falling under the Rs 3,000 category.

Midhula Devabhaktuni, chief marketing officer and co-founder, Mivi, told a popular daily, “Octave, Moonstone and Roam are designed to be durable, offer size-defying performance without sacrificing on technology, product design and aesthetics. They are lightweight, portable and water-resistant.”

The company is claiming a range of up to 10 meters on all the new Mivi Bluetooth speakers. The three speakers come enabled with Bluetooth 4.2 version and above.

Mivi Roam has been termed as water resistant on the Mivi India website. The website claims that Roam comes equipped with a 800 mAH battery and offers six hours of battery life at 70 per cent volume. Mivi Moonstone on the other hand comes equipped with a 1500 mAH battery that also offers six hours of battery life at 70 per cent volume. Moonstone wireless speaker has been termed as splash resistant on the Mivi website.

Octave Bluetooth speaker, the most expensive among the three launched, offers up to 10 hours of battery life at 70 per cent volume. Company claims it to be splash resistant and equipped with a 2600 mAH battery.
