The initiative will establish a nationwide EV charging infrastructure to support 3ECO’s cargo vehicles.

Incharz has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 3ECO, a manufacturer of L-3 and L-5 cargo vehicles and an EV Cargo Fleet Operator. This partnership aims to create a network of exclusive EV charging stations for 3ECO’s fleet across India.

The charging stations are expected to service approximately 200-300 EV cargo vehicles daily, with a target of charging 1,000 of 3ECO’s vehicles by the end of 2024. This development is seen as a significant step towards promoting the adoption of electric vehicles, enhancing green mobility, and contributing to a more sustainable future.

Under the agreement, 3ECO will provide fleet hubs for Incharz to set up EV charging stations. Incharz will handle the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of these stations, which will be strategically located across India. The charging stations will incorporate advanced technology to ensure efficient charging and will support multiple charging standards, making them compatible with various EV models.

Neeraj Gupta, AVP Operations at Incharz, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited about our collaboration with 3ECO. Incharz prides itself on its innovative approach to EV charging and promoting a greener world. This partnership, along with 3ECO’s ambitious plans, reinforces our commitment to advancing innovation and sustainability in electric mobility.”

Gupta also highlighted Incharz’s strategic goals, which include expanding its network to major cities across India and exploring synergies with bus operators, large fleet operators, and truck charging infrastructure along highways. This expansion aims to solidify Incharz’s position as a key player in the electrification of transportation infrastructure.

The partnership between Incharz and 3ECO marks a significant move towards building a robust EV charging network in India, supporting the transition to electric mobility and fostering a sustainable transportation ecosystem.
