Monday, September 09, 2013: Last year, the state government made it clear that the future of renewal energy in Haryana was brilliant. However, the state was not able to meet the targets which were set for the same. The state itself set the target for 500 MV however just something like 167 MW was produced with the green sources. As per government reports, just 195.9 MW of -fossil-fuel energy was generated.
The disappointment of this dream can be seen by many towards this aspect, which is the preferred investment of people in general area in Gurgaon and different areas. A later advancement guarantees a turnaround. An approval has been given to NISE by the Union Cabinet towards the proposal made by them.
The latest proposal is not established as a new institute verses scaling-up an old one. Located on the highway Gurgaon-Faridabad, the Solar Energy Centre (SEC), will be self efficient. S K Singh, a researcher there, the Cabinet’s nod to the NISE has been a welcome step. They were confident to receive help form NISE for the same
The SEC will authoritatively turn into the NISE in just a couple of months from now. Reportedly, a notice was supposed to be sent in the next couple of months.
