Electronics Bazaar unveils top 15 UPS & inverter manufacturers in India

UPS and inverter manufacturing is gaining momentum in India. A Frost & Sullivan report indicates that the Indian UPS market will grow at the rate of 13.4 per cent annually to reach a market size of US$ 1316.5 million by 2014. Hence, the future of the UPS and inverter players seems promising over the next five years, as the products would find applications in varied industries ranging from IT, ITeS and manufacturing, to hospitality, medical establishments, retail and a host of others.

Electronics Bazaar, South Asia’s No. 1 electronics B2B sourcing magazine, attempts to bring out a clear picture of the growth witnessed by the UPS and inverter manufacturers in FY 2011-12, and ranks the ‘Top 15 UPS & inverter manufacturers in India’ based on their revenues for the same FY.

The top spot in the list has been grabbed by Luminous Power Technologies Pvt Ltd, whose annual revenue for the year 2011-12 is Rs 10,700 million. The second position has been bagged by Genus Power Infrastructure Ltd, with the revenue of Rs 7172.9 million, followed by Su-Kam Power Systems Ltd with the revenue of Rs 6940 million.
