According to top leaders in the TV business, the bigger screen size market now accounts for more than 60 per cent of TV sales (flat panel) and the growth is being inflamed by low-cost points and rising eagerness. Market size for below 32-inch screen has been shrinking by 7-10 per cent.
Amidst a hefty monsoon and seventh pay panel recommendations for government employees, Samsung, which made public a clump of latest products across various price points, foresees the television market to grow at a healthy stride this year.
Satish Padmanabhan, head of sales at Sony India, supposes that 22 inch and 24 inch screens are no longer finding much service, as purchasers are going for up gradations such as 32 inch and also to 40 inch to some extent.
