The Defence PSU aims to create newer collaborations in a variety of emerging fields like blockchain, broadband and cloud solutions

In a recent development, Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), Indian Defence Public Sector Undertaking (DPSU) signed a series of Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with private sector companies. The 12th edition of the flagship Defence Expo (DefExpo 2022), which took place in Gandhinagar, provided ample opportunity for the Defence PSU to create newer collaborations in a variety of emerging fields.

BEL signed an MoU with Motorola Solutions India Pvt Ltd for cooperation in the field of broadband and push-to-talk service.

Similarly, for cooperation in the emerging field of blockchain technology, the DPSU signed an MoU with INERY, a Switzerland-based company.

In yet another MoU signed by BEL, it committed to work with Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt Ltd (BGSW) to jointly implement projects in the areas of e-governance, ERP and cloud solutions.

With over 90 years of experience, Motorola Solutions is a global leader in public safety and enterprise security. It provides an integrated technology ecosystem in land mobile radio communications, video security & access control and command centre software. In India, Motorola Solutions has been operating for over 30 years.

M/s INERY Pte Ltd is a Switzerland-based company, headquartered in Singapore. It aims to solve the security breach issues that have been rampant due to immature database infrastructures that provide a single point of failure. INERY’s infrastructure claims to enable enterprises to improve procedures in systems while providing resilience, scalable, and reliable systems.

Bosch Global Software Technologies (earlier, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Pvt Ltd) is a leading global supplier of technology and services, offering end-to-end Engineering, IT and Business solutions. It is a 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH.

Bengaluru-based BEL is a Navratna DPSU under the Indian Defence Ministry. It was established way back in 1954, to meet the needs of the Indian defence services for electronics equipment, systems and services.
