TDK-Lambda adds a new 300W model to its range of AC-DC power supplies.
TDK-Lambda ZWS-BAF series of single-output power supplies has been expanded with the addition of a new 300W model. The ZWS300BAF operates from a universal input of 85 to 265VAC or 120-370VDC and features a 10-year E-cap lifetime for superior reliability in the field, meeting demands for a wide range of applications, including those found in industrial equipment and front-end equipment for broadcast and communications as well as test and measurement.
Achieving up to 91 per cent efficiency, the ZWS300BAF features an operating temperature range of -10C to +70C, allowing 100 per cent load operation in a 45C environment (convection-cooled) and 60C with 0.7m/s airflow. Offered with output voltages of 24V, 36V and 48V, each model in the ZWS-BAF series can be adjusted by up to ±10 per cent of its nominal voltage to accommodate non-standard system voltages. Standard features include over current and over voltage protection circuitry and an optional remote on/off is also available.
With active power factor correction (PFC) that meets EN/IEC61000-3-2, the ZWS300BAF has a 3kVac input to output isolation and meets conducted and radiated EMC conforming to EN55011/EN55022-B, FCC-B, VCCI-B. The ZWS300BAF is safety-approved to UL/CSA/EN60950-1 and EN50178 and carries the CE mark, according to the LV Directive and RoHS Directive, says the company.
