VVDN is Manufacturing WiFi Six Products For HFCL

  • HFCL has recently bagged a Rs 174.43 Cr order to supply optical fibre cables
  • VVDN had recently won a contract to supply 5G radio cells to Sterlite Technologies

VVDN Technologies stated that it is manufacturing WiFi Six products for gear maker HFCL. The companies seem to be working together to launch wireless solutions based on WiFi Six. These solutions might be launched in India and the global market as well.

Wireless products in question here include P2P and P2MP connectivity solutions, and wireless access points. Some of these have already been introduced in India.

Bhuvnesh Sachdeva, Vice President, New Product Development, HFCL, informed that HFCL has developed and delivered over 50,000 access points, P2P and PMP radio so far. Harpreet Singh, Networking and Wi-Fi BU Head at VVDN informed that VVDN’s dedicated SMT lines have led to a increase in its manufacturing capabilities.

VVDN recently inaugurated 10 acre facility

VVDN had recently announced the opening of its 10-acre Global Innovation Park at Manesar, Gurugram, India. This announcement came as a part of the company’s plan to further strengthen its engineering service offerings and increasing its manufacturing capacity by adding to the infrastructure.

VVDN launching a major global expansion of its manufacturing efforts in India, underscores the company’s commitment to be India’s Premier ODM company catering to both the domestic and global market’s needs,” Bhupender Saharan, CEO, VVDN, had noted.

“This manufacturing expansion has occurred at a unique time when the world is looking for manufacturing alternatives, and VVDN is now determined to offer its global customers a world class manufacturing capability with an excellent quality level. The electronics manufacturing world is rapidly evolving and VVDN is ready to meet the needs of the new normal of the world with its advanced and sustainable infrastructure, capacity and manpower,” Saharan had added.

The company was recently chosen by STL as the engineering and ODM partner for the development of few indigenous 5G products and solutions. VVDN, as per the collaboration, will be manufacturing 5G radio products including macro RU and small cells for STL.
