The Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia Class of 2019 is spread across 10 categories. The categories are The Arts (art and style, food and drink); entertainment and sports; finance and venture capital; media, marketing and advertising; retail and e-commerce; enterprise technology; industry, manufacturing and energy; healthcare and science; social entrepreneurs and consumer technology.

While all the honorees are well deserved, it is a proud moment for all Indians as one Chandigarh based solar manufacturer made it to this impressive list. Simarpreet Singh, founder, Hartek Solar Pvt Ltd, bagged the prestigious title of the 30 Under 30 Asia list. The aim of his initiative is to provide clean and affordable energy across the country.

Hartek Solar is the manufacturer of rooftop solar panels, which are low on maintenance costs. Recently, the startup also came up with a plug-and-play solar power kit with a mobile solar van which adds electricity to rural communities.

A well planned working principle
In an exclusive interaction with Electronics Bazaar in December 2018, commenting on the launch of the solar van, Singh said, “Our aim is to ensure that every household is well connected with reliable, sustainable and affordable solar power. Since the residential solar segment has not being targeted that much, we wanted to tap this opportunity.”

While sharing Hartek Solar’s future plan Singh mentioned that his entire focus is to work very closely with the customers and provide them with the right technology solutions. An optimistic Singh assured that Hartek is working with the latest technologies and integrating it into the infrastructure to provide a smart project to their customers.
