38 Million Units Shipped by Indias’ Wearables Market

As per reports, 23.9 million wearable devices have been shipped April-June, 2022. With a growth of 113% YoY, 38 million units were shipped in total from January-June this year. 

6.4 million units of watch-based wearables were shipped resulting in a 298.4% YoY growth. When compared to a year ago, the ASP declined by 28.9% YoY. Basic watches continue to dominate with 95.2% share while wristbands decline by 63% YoY. 

Hearables account for 72.6% of the overall wearables category, with the truly wireless (TWS) now accounting for half of the ear wear shipments that are growing at 187.4% YoY.

BoAt has focused on the expansion of ear wear devices , while Noise regained leadership in the watch-based wearables category.
