development boardIn July 2014, iWave Systems Technologies Pvt Ltd launched a Vybrid VF6xx μMXM development board named iW-RainboW-G16D-μMXM. The development kit incorporates the Vybrid VF6xx system-on-module (SOM) measuring 85x40mm and a carrier card that is pico-ITX sized (100x72mm). The SOM is based on Freescale’s Vybrid VF6xx that includes an ARM Cortex A5 core at 500MHz and ARM Cortex M4 core at 167MHz, which often eliminates the need for an external MCU for realtime control applications. The Vybrid μMXM development kit is packed with 256MB on-board RAM and 256MB NAND Flash. It is powered with the Linux 3.0.15 OS, enabling the customer to kickstart application development.
