In July 2011, Digi-Key added to its stock of TE’s innovative solid state lighting (SSL) solutions with the NEVALO SSL system designed to accelerate lighting manufacturers’ transition from traditional light sources to new LED lighting fixtures. This system combines the many new components and disciplines of SSL systems into one simple solution.
Features and USP: The NEVALO SSL system includes over 60 LLMs options, ranging from 300 to 3400 lumens, optics in total internal reflection and reflector styles, apart from drivers with constant current output, dimming control capabilities and temperature monitoring. Other features include a new ribbon based, four wire configuration wiring system that is physically keyed and colour coded for polarity, accurate power connections and ease of manufacturing. This combination gives an exceptional product performance. Other components include heat sinks matched to the LLMs for appropriate thermal management, an SSL system budget calculator, and a product configurator.
