PVG Menon named ISA president
The India Semiconductor Association (ISA) has named PVG Menon as its new president. Mr Menon would be responsible for overseeing the operations of ISA and would work as a member of its Executive Council on strategic issues related to the growth of the semiconductor and the electronics industry in India. He has volunteered with several ISA initiatives such as ISA-Frost and Sullivan Market Study, Technovation, and ISA-Ernst and Young Country Competitiveness Study.
Siplace appoints new CFO
45-year-old Mike M. Möhlheinrich is the new CFO of ASM Assembly Systems GmbH & Co. KG (formerly Siemens Electronic Assembly Systems). Mike Möhlheinrich is no newcomer: in 2006, he worked as vice president and controller in the company’s U.S. office in Atlanta. Over the course of his career, the experienced businessman and financial expert occupied several management positions at various Siemens companies and divisions. Möhlheinrich has also headed the German subsidiary of French wind energy producer Theolia.
NI appoints new VP
National Instruments (NI) has named Ajit Gokhale as the vice president of product marketing. In this role, Gokhale, who most recently served as the general manager for the NI UK, France, Ireland and Portugal offices, will oversee product marketing for the National Instruments core platforms of data acquisition and instrument control.
