With the aim to reach out to the small resellers market, SMEs and SSIs, Best Power Equipments (BPE), a Delhi based UPS vendor and supplier of strategic power solutions, has appointed Cyberstar Infocom as its national distributor for its entire product range. This is the first time BPE has appointed a national distributor for its entire range of products. In the past, it had different distributors for different product ranges.

With a target of Rs 250 million for the fiscal year 2010-2011, BPE is expecting to grow more than 20 per cent. The company is gearing up to reach out to a wider customer base through its various product lines and with the help of Cyberstar, a leading authorised distributor of IT peripherals, networking products and components.  This recent appointment was done in order to get BPE more visibility and to build its presence in smaller cities, apart from its market in northern India. Justifying Cyberstar’s appointment, Amitanshu Satpathy, managing director, BPE, says, “Cyberstar Infocom is an ideal partner due to its wide product portfolio and strong network presence across tier I, II and III cities. Its renowned channel reputation and professional management will help in extending a strong product placement advantage and channel pull for our product lines. Since BPE aims to back its products with replacement strategies and onsite service (which includes pre and post sales support services across the country), Cyberstar is expected to lend all logistic support. We also aim to target the reseller market and SMEs, which is the fastest growing segment in India.”

Says Suresh Kandukuri, sales director, Cyberstar Infocom, “BPE products reflect the company’s strong technological prowess, its innovation and customer service orientation, and it fits perfectly into our rapidly expanding portfolio of offerings in the IT channel. We are hopeful about the partnership and look forward to expand the footprint and business opportunities for both BPE and Cyberstar.”
