India’s top embedded technology innovations recognised
TJ David and Kudikala Shravan Kumar, from International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad have won the coveted Intel India Embedded Challenge grand prize for 2011 for their project Solar Powered Crop Harvesting Robot. The nationwide competition is an initiative by Intel in India to recognize and reward outstanding ideas in embedded technology, based on the Intel Atom processor.
Tejas Networks wins innovative telecom product award
Tejas Networks’ packet optical transport (POTP) product, TJ1600, has won the Aegis Graham Bell Innovative Telecom Product Award 2011. Aegis Graham Bell Awards are intended to promote innovation in the field of Time (telecom, Internet, media and edutainment) and to provide recognition for outstanding contributions.
Reliance Communications CEO Entrepreneur of the year
Mike Narula, founder, president and chief executive officer of Reliance Communications, has received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011 New York award in the business services category. The award recognises outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
National Award for Infronics Systems in MSME sector
Infronics has been recognized and awarded ‘Special Recognition–National Award-2010, Government of India’ for its outstanding entrepreneurship in the MSME Sector. The award was presented by the Hon’ble President of India September 2, 2011, at Vigyan Bhawan.
