In September 2011, OK International launched a MFR-1150 desoldering system along with the MFR-UK5 upgrade kit, which enables assemblers to transform existing MFR systems into shop air desoldering systems.
Features and USP: The new MFR-1150 desoldering system adds a shop air desoldering option to its MFR range of soldering and rework tools. Incorporating a built-in power supply, a desoldering hand-piece and unique venture workstand, the system features an increased vacuum suction force of 25 inch Hg or 0.85 bar. The system also features a hand piece that can be used in two different configurations, either in a pencil style or with a pistol grip. The hand piece also increases solder collection capability by 40 per cent compared to previous MFR systems, thanks to an expanded collection chamber capacity. The replaceable chamber also reduces downtime and ensures a rapid changeover.
