By Sandhya Malhotra

The electronic manufacturing services (EMS) industry can either be broadly characterised as a high volume/low mix EMS provider, which includes the well capitalised tier I and II companies that are the global leaders today, or a low volume/high mix niche tier III and IV EMS provider that caters to OEMs in industries such as military, aerospace, medical, industrial and instrumentation that value close proximity and the ability to provide complex manufacturing and personal customer service.

Based on these parameters, Electronics Bazaar contacted the electronics industry experts and electronics associations, who shared with us their preferences of leading and emerging EMS providers. While this list is by no means comprehensive, it would provide you a glimpse into many of India’s better known EMS companies. We are not ranking them but only listing them in an alphabetical order.
