With a national manufacturing policy soon to be announced, India prepares to revamp its manufacturing setup, with the aim to emerge as a world class manufacturing hub. Realising the potential, various companies catering to different sectors, such as consumer and industrial electronics, telecom equipment, computers and solar energy, are on their way to expanding their existing facilities in India or are planning to set up new facilities to tap the huge opportunities in India. These activities in the manufacturing front will also boost the growth and business of many other sectors like tools and equipment, test and measurement devices, SMT and through-hole machines, etc.

The company will set up a plant in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, to produce purified silicon, cells and other components for solar PV facilities. The plant will have a capacity of 250 MW a year and will produce ingots, wafers, PV cells, modules and polysilicon.
