How Fusion Power Systems was born
What inspired Kapil Sood, the managing director of this company, to set it up was the shortage of quality battery suppliers in India about a decade ago. Amptek is the brand name of Fusion Power Systems’ wide range of rechargeable SLA batteries. These batteries strictly comply with JIS and IEC standards. They are especially designed, built and tested to perform in the most difficult environments and have good stability, high capacity, small sizes and a long service life. AMPTEK SMF battery models 12V24Ah and 12V33Ah are approved by ICAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology). AMPTEK Lithium Ion Cells are also approved and certified by BIS. At present, Fusion Power Systems produces both small- and large-sized Amptek batteries in a range that includes more than 60 models—in 2V, 6V and 12V with rated capacities of 0.3Ah to 3000Ah.
