This growth can be attributed to the automotive segment as well as to other industrial sections, which are powered by inverter and UPS like telecom, railways, power and other industries. With the country facing power shortage in several pockets, the usage of inverters and UPS has gone up significantly, increasing the usage of batteries as well. In an effort to appreciate the Indian battery manufacturers, we at Electronics Bazaar contacted a large number of industry experts and electronic associations, who shared with us their preferences of battery brands.
